More iPhone video goodness

Here are some bite-sized updates from a few iPhone-related articles I came across today:

Engadget reports that iMovie can now be run on jailbroken 3GS iPhones. So for those of you 3GS owners who read my iMovie review and were itching to do some editing on the go, now you can!

Ducati posted a short video, remarkably, shot entirely on an iPhone 4. This and the short film “Apple of my Eye” posted to Vimeo a few days ago are some of the best I’ve seen so far, and shows just how quickly mobile video quality is catching up with larger camcorders.

Over at Boy Genius Report, they’re saying that Cisco is pairing up with Flip to offer a Wi-Fi enabled mini camcorder. I’m a fan of the Flip, and adding another level of convenience over the already-convenient built in USB connector would be a welcome step toward painless video sharing.

Not only that, but Cisco (a company you don’t normally associate with video, but is actually steeped in it) is also apparently working on an iOS 4 “video client” app that may integrate with FaceTime.

And lastly, the folks over at Edible Apple picked up on my iMovie app review and posted a summary. Edible Apple is a source for tech nerds who want to keep up with all things Apple … go check them out!
